How to Register your PDUs with PMI

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has recently made some changes to the PDU registration system.

This post is intended to help you with the registration process so that you can get credit for your PDUs quickly and easily.

The new web site address for registering your PDUs with PMI is

This is the “Continuing Certification Requirements System” page.

On this page, you will see a section labeled “PMI Login.”

Here you will enter your PMI Username and Password then click the “Log In” button.

Once logged into your PMI account, you will follow the instructions online to log your PDUs.

Please reference your LETTER OF COMPLETION in your account for the following information you will need when registering your PDUs with PMI:

  1. REP Number

Getting a Grasp on Social Media

I attended a panel discussion last week sponsored by a dynamic company called Newscertified Exchange. The program was called Influencing the Headlines: Empowering Women For Global Media. While I didn’t learn a great deal of new information, it was heartening to walk away with some validating thoughts:

  1. We are all on this journey together and everyone feels overwhelmed to a certain extent.
  2. NO ONE  is the expert in social media and we each have our preferences and sweet spots.
  3. I also was reminded of the importance of knowing your purpose and having a strategy before you post everywhere. I still hear from many introverts that they appreciate the chance to reflect and consider their message before “speaking” on line.

I Lost My Job To a Smart Phone App

In May 2006, a Wall Street Journal article declared that large Automated Teller Machine (“ATM”) manufacturers were trying to sell a new generation of machines that would enable customers to deposit cash or checks without an envelope.  Now, that may not be a big deal for some, but for many smaller businesses, which have a respectable quantity of checks and cash have to painstakingly prepare deposit slips, stamp the back of checks and stand in line, to make a deposit with a live teller, it was big news.  I was elated when I read this article, while at the same time thinking “not in my lifetime”.
