Setting Intentions

By Tricia Molloy

An intention is the broad, bright light that leads the way for the more specific goals you set. It is the sacred promise made between your soul and the universe to take responsibility and assure the quality of what you will manifest.

Your intentions for your projects might include clear communications, complete integrity with customers and team members, and a fun, creative work environment. From there, you develop the goals that relate to each one.

You may also set an intention each morning about the kind of day you want to have. It might be high energy and productive or quiet and contemplative. As your day progresses, you will seek to connect with people and situations to support that intention. When your day begins to veer from the intention you set, you can correct the course and continue on your way.

Thomas Jefferson once said, “Difficulties indeed sometimes arise; but common sense and honest intentions will generally steer through them.”
